Step inside the party, disrupt the whole scene.

I have been thinking about these ModCloth shoes for an excessively long period of time. They're called "Science Fiction Booties," which is probably what made me curious in the first place. Initially, I wasn't sure if I thought they were attractive or not, but then I read the description:
You'll be 'queen' of the style universe when you bring these astronomically amazing booties into your life! Their rich caramel and crimson dual toned, geometrically shaped leather upper will protect your feet from unwanted invaders from the planet Earth, while a brightly printed sole, and stylishly soft pink velvet interior put these ankle boots light years ahead of their time! Highlight your intergalactic gams with a pair of sparkling tights and a mod mini dress, and you'll be fighting bad fashion, one step at a time.
Yes, now I am with you.

Hitches in the plan:
1. They are $99.99, although marked down from $147.99, so, there's that.
2. They are sold out of my size! So, there, I don't even have a choice.

Sure are dreamy, though.

It makes a fiery ring.

My theme for March is using Photo Booth to photograph my accessories while wearing a heavy metal t-shirt. Today, I'm posting about the rings I've been wearing as of late.

I made a point to run out and get the gold two-finger cross ring for three dollars at Forever 21. And then I found myself at the arcade, spending my skee ball winnings on a plastic dollar sign ring (and a purple slinky, but I digress). When I put them on together, it looked like I was making commentary on the relationship between capitalism and Christianity in American society. I suspect Marilyn Manson would approve.

And this is the only other ring I wear at all. Why wear jewelry if you're not going to make a political statement, right?

When the heart guides the hand.

My heart-shaped glasses arrived Saturday afternoon (all the way from Hong Kong, apparently)!

These pictures are not the highest quality, but the sunglasses are exceptionally cool. I was slightly concerned that these would look too Marilyn Manson on me, but if I had been worried about that, I probably should have stopped a long time ago.

Yeah! And, I miss spring break already. I hardly knew ye.

Lost inside adorable illusion.

It's officially spring break! I just recovered from some weird losing-my-voice-for-three-days thing, and, even though it snowed a little a couple of days ago, it looks like we'll have some good weather in our future. Ready to par-tay.

In preparation for good weather par-taying, I have chronicled my favorite pairs of sunglasses.

See, I think it's important to have an array of colorful sunglasses because they really add a splash of color to your sweet Poison t-shirt.

The pink ones are from Charlotte Russe, the black ones are thrifted by my mother, the yellow ones are from the Fairfax High Flea Market and I do not recall where the red ones are from.

I recently ordered these heart-shaped glasses for six dollars from eBay:

Looking forward to their arrival! I will update once they're here (which should be soon, I hope).
Until then.
